Duplicate a program

When you’re ready to run another round of your program — a new cohort, a fresh batch of participants — duplicate an existing program instead of rebuilding from scratch. Duplication copies your entire program structure with recalculated dates.

How to duplicate

  1. Open the program you want to duplicate.
  2. Go to Settings and find the Duplicate option.
  3. Choose a new start date for the duplicated program.
  4. Select which apps to copy (curriculum, events, channels, etc.).
  5. Review the generated section titles and release dates — you can override any of them individually.
  6. Click Duplicate.

A new program space is created with all your content, activities, and structure intact.

What gets duplicated

  • All curriculum sections, modules, and activities (with content)
  • Section release dates (recalculated based on your new start date)
  • Event schedules (shifted to match the new timeline)
  • App configurations
  • Welcome message and settings

What does NOT get duplicated

  • Participants — the new program starts with no members
  • Participant progress and responses
  • Completed worksheets and task list items

Date recalculation

When you set a new start date, upcoach automatically recalculates:

  • Section release dates — Shifted by the same offset between the original start date and the new one
  • Event dates — Recurring events generate new dates based on the new timeline

You can review and override individual dates before confirming the duplication.

When to use duplication

  • Running the same program for a new cohort
  • Creating a variation of an existing program with minor changes
  • Scaling a successful program to multiple groups running in parallel
