Create your first program

A program is the core building block in upcoach. It’s where you organize content, run events, engage participants, and track progress. Every program lives in its own space with dedicated tools and settings.

You have two ways to create a program: use a program type template or build from scratch.

Option 1: Use a program type

Program types give you a head start. When you select one, upcoach automatically generates your curriculum structure, events, channels, and a setup checklist — all based on the format you chose.

  1. From your dashboard, click New Program.
  2. Browse the program type gallery. Each type shows a description, recommended duration, and key features.
  3. Select a type that matches your delivery format (group coaching, cohort-based course, mastermind, etc.).
  4. Fill in the intake form — you’ll be asked for your program name, start date, call frequency, and other format-specific details.
  5. Click Create.

Your program space is generated with pre-built sections, activities, and events. A setup checklist appears in the bottom-right corner to guide you through the remaining configuration.

Option 2: Build from scratch

If you prefer a blank canvas:

  1. From your dashboard, click New Program.
  2. Select Build from Scratch.
  3. Enter a program name, choose an icon, and pick an icon color.
  4. Click Create.

You’ll get an empty program space. Add sections, activities, and apps as you build out your curriculum.

What to do next

  • Review the setup checklist (if you used a program type) and complete each item
  • Add or edit sections and activities in your curriculum
  • Invite participants to your program
  • Publish your program when it’s ready for participants
