From 1:1 coaching to group programs.
Turn the method you teach one client at a time into a structured program. Run it for each client in private, then run it for a group, with the work between sessions and each person's progress in the same place.
Start with the method you already teach.
Pick 1:1 Program and upcoach sets up eight weeks in three phases: Foundation, Building and Integration. Each week of the Building phase has a lesson, an assignment worksheet, a between-session task list and a booking card, so your client books the week's session right where the week's work is.
- Intake, mid-program and final assessments, the final mirroring the intake
- A private message channel between you and your client
- Weekly or bi-weekly sessions, with the content still released week by week
Run it again without rebuilding it.
Duplicate the space for each new client. Everyone gets their own private copy with fresh worksheets, their own booking history and their own message channel, and clients in duplicated spaces never see each other.
- Section release dates shift to the new start date, and you can change any of them
- Worksheets are private by default: answers stay between you and your client
Then run it for a group.
When your method can serve several people at once, pick Group Coaching. upcoach sets up twelve weeks in three phases, a weekly 60-minute group call linked to each week's module, a community channel and a member directory.
- Turn on 1:1 booking at setup to add a 30-minute check-in at the midpoint
- Twelve weeks can become eight or sixteen: rename, add or remove weeks
- Sections open on dates you set, so the group is on the same week
Keep the work going after every call.
Worksheets, check-ins and task lists give participants something to do between sessions, and show you who did it. Automatic reminders bring them back for the next call.
- Task lists show each participant's completion, including who has not started
- Check-ins turn into a trend from the second submission
Show every participant how far they came.
The final reflection mirrors the intake, so you can put both side by side in the closing session. Participant reports show everything about one person: programs enrolled, events and appointments attended, time spent, and what they viewed and completed.

Can I run 1:1 programs and group programs in the same account?
Yes. Every plan includes every program type and unlimited programs, so private 1:1 programs and group programs sit side by side.
What is the difference between a 1:1 Program and 1:1 Coaching?
A 1:1 Program is led by a curriculum: an eight-week arc of lessons, assignments and between-session tasks, with the sessions woven in. 1:1 Coaching is led by the sessions: there is no curriculum, and each session follows a Prepare, Attend, Reflect, Act cycle.
How do I run the same 1:1 program for another client?
Duplicate the space and set the new start date. The new client gets a private copy with fresh worksheets, their own bookings and their own message channel. Participants, their answers and their progress stay on the original.
Can a group program still include 1:1 calls?
Yes. Turn on 1:1 booking when you set up a Group Coaching program and each participant can book a 30-minute check-in at the midpoint. It needs a connected calendar.
How big should my first group be?
The group coaching setup guide suggests 12 to 15 participants when your live sessions include hot seats or individual attention. Groups let you split a larger program into smaller pods.
Do I still need Zoom?
Yes, the video call itself runs on your conferencing tool. upcoach handles everything around it: the schedule, the module link, the RSVPs, the reminders, the attendance in your reports and the feedback afterward.
Which plans include this?
All of them. Every plan includes every program type, bookable sessions and progress reports. Plans differ mainly by active participants and team seats.
