Delete a program

Deleting a program removes that space for good. A course is a program, so the same steps remove a course. upcoach does not archive a program. When you want to take it offline and keep the content, unpublish it instead.

Delete a program

  1. Open Admin Area > Spaces.
  2. On the program row, open the ellipsis menu (three dots) and select Delete.
  3. The dialog asks you to confirm. It explains that this permanently deletes the space, along with its content, activities, and participant progress, and that this cannot be undone.
  4. Type the program name exactly as shown, then click Yes, delete this space.

Click Cancel to keep the program.

The same Delete action is on the Spaces dashboard only. The program menu in the sidebar does not include Delete.

Keep the program and take it offline

Unpublish when participants should stop seeing the program and you still want the content.

  1. Open the program.
  2. Hover the program name in the sidebar, open the ellipsis menu, and select Unpublish. You can also open Settings and click Unpublish in the panel header.
  3. Confirm. The status changes from Live to Draft.

Members no longer see the program in their navigation. Nothing is deleted. Publish again when you want them back in. See Publish your program.
