Session Invites Arrive as Calendar Invites in Outlook and Gmail

People who haven’t connected a calendar now get sessions as real calendar invites. Outlook and Gmail show Accept and Decline and add the session to the calendar, with no file to open.

  • Bookings and events: booking a 1:1 session or attending a group event sends an invite for that session.
  • Reschedules: when a session moves, the next email moves it in the calendar too.
  • Cancellations: when a session is cancelled, the email removes it from the calendar.

The invite is still attached as an ICS file for other calendar apps. The Connect your calendar article also explains what to send your IT team when your Microsoft 365 organization asks for admin approval before Outlook can connect.
