Create coupons and discounts for your offers
Create coupons and discounts for your offers
Coupons let you offer promo codes that participants enter at checkout to receive a discount. You can run early-bird promotions, reward referrals, or give special pricing to specific groups — all managed from one place.
Before you begin
- Your Stripe account must be connected (see Set up payments with Stripe)
- You need at least one offer if you want to restrict the coupon to a specific offer
Open the coupons page
- Open Admin Area > Sell > Coupons from the sidebar.
- If Stripe is connected, you’ll see your coupon list. If not, you’ll see a prompt to connect Stripe first.
Create a coupon
- Click the Coupon add button in the top-right corner.
- Fill in the coupon details:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Coupon Name | A display name for your reference, e.g., “Early Bird 20% Off” |
| Promo Code | The code participants type at checkout, e.g., EARLYBIRD20. Letters, numbers, and underscores only. Automatically converted to uppercase. |
| Discount | The discount value and type — choose % for a percentage or your currency symbol for a fixed amount. Percentage values must be between 1 and 100. |
| Apply to Offer | Restrict this coupon to a specific offer, or leave as Any offer to let it work on all your offers. |
- Optionally set limits under the Limits section:
| Limit | Description |
|---|---|
| Max Redemptions | Cap how many times this coupon can be used total. Leave blank for unlimited. |
| Expires On | Automatically deactivate the coupon on a specific date. Leave blank for no expiration. |
- Click Create Coupon.
The coupon is created in Stripe and becomes active immediately. Share the promo code with participants however you like — email, social media, or inside your program content.
Manage existing coupons
The coupons list shows all your coupons with their name, promo code, discount, which offer they apply to, who created them, creation date, and redemption count.
Filter and sort
Use the filter bar to:
- Search coupons by name or code
- Filter by status — Active, Inactive, or Any
- Filter by offer — Show coupons for a specific offer
- Sort — Newest, Oldest, Most Used, or Name A-Z
Activate or deactivate
Open the dropdown menu (three-dot icon) on any coupon row and toggle the Active/Inactive switch. Inactive coupons cannot be used at checkout.
Edit a coupon
Select Edit from the dropdown menu. Only the Coupon Name can be changed after creation. The promo code, discount, and offer restriction are locked once the coupon is created.
Copy the promo code
Click the copy icon next to any coupon to copy the promo code to your clipboard.
Delete a coupon
Select Delete from the dropdown menu and confirm. Deleted coupons cannot be recovered.
Coupon status indicators
The redemptions column shows badges when a coupon has reached its limits:
- Expired — The coupon’s expiration date has passed
- Limit reached — The coupon has been used the maximum number of times
