Questions, answered

What counts as an active participant?

Anyone currently enrolled in at least one of your programs. The same person in three programs counts once. Participants never use a team seat.

How do team seats work?

Seats are for your team: owners, admins, facilitators, and sponsors. A seat is one person, whatever roles they hold. Seats included: Starter 1, Pro 2, Business 5, Scale 10. Extra seats are $99/mo ($990/yr) on Business and Scale.

What happens if I outgrow my plan?

Upgrade anytime; everything carries over. On Business and Scale you can add participants in blocks of 100 for $99/mo ($990/yr) each. Beyond that, tell us what you're running from the contact page.

What are the transaction fees?

2% on Starter, 1% on Pro and Business, and 0% on Scale and Enterprise. Stripe's card processing is separate and paid to Stripe.

Can I collect payments from participants?

Yes. Connect Stripe, create offers with subscriptions, installments, or one-time payments, use coupons and bundles, and get a checkout page that handles enrollment automatically.

Can I run different program formats?

Yes. Cohorts, certifications, bootcamps, masterminds, group coaching, private coaching, challenges. Every format on every plan.

What happens when my free trial ends?

You pick a plan and keep everything you built. Nothing is deleted.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes, from your account settings, no conversation required. Your first paid subscription also has a 14-day money-back guarantee: just email us.

Will my price change later?

No. When our prices change, existing customers keep their terms. Always.

Can I run upcoach from Claude or ChatGPT?

Yes. Connect your assistant over MCP and it can build curriculum, create worksheets and check-ins, schedule events, post updates, and pull progress reports. Available on every plan. Your assistant works with your permissions: it can do what you can do.

Do participants need to download an app?

No. upcoach runs in any browser. Participants who prefer an app can use the upcoach app for iOS and Android. On Pro and above, the web experience runs on your domain and brand.
