Here at upcoach, we've designed for you to be notified according to your needs. Here is how you can easily manage your email notifications.

1. Click on the Admin button on the upper right of the portal:

2. In Admin Panel Sidebar click on Notifications & Digests:

3. This will take you to the Notifications, where you'll have the option to toggle which email notifications you want to be enabled:

That way, you have the option to select which notifications you will be receiving from upcoach.

Here is what you and your clients can get notified about:

  • Task Notifications

Your clients receive an email notification when someone assigns a task to them.

    Use setting

  • Agenda Notifications

Your clients receive email notifications when someone assigns a question, project, or topic to them in an agenda.

    Use setting

  • Forum Notifications

Forum Block has forum-level notification settings. This allows you to set different notifications for every other forum you've created. Please visit the relevant forum block settings to set notifications.
⚠️ NOTE: Although all your preferences for the other blocks are at the organization level, only the forum block has program-level notification settings. Detailed information is below.

  • Smart Doc Notifications

Your clients receive an email notification when someone assigns them a new smart doc.

  • Drive Notifications

Your clients receive an email notification when someone assigns them a new file.

  • Course Notifications

Your clients receive email notifications when someone assigns them a course and when a new lesson is available.

  • Sub-Program Notifications

Your clients receive email notifications when someone adds them to a new sub-program.

  • Chat

Your clients receive email notifications whenever someone sends them a new text or audio message.

⚠️ NOTE 1: Settings are only for email notifications; you can't customize in-app notifications

⚠️ NOTE 2: Email notifications content is not customizable, so you can't change the wording of a notification

Assignment Notifications

You, now have the option to receive in-app or email notifications when your clients complete tasks, SmartDocs, or courses. Your options are fully configurable, allowing you to enable both, one, or opt out entirely.

The new feature can be found on the same page as the Organization notifications on the Admin Dashboard, under the Notification & Digests menu

Key Features:

  • Tailored Configuration:

Enjoy the flexibility to customize each notification according to your personal preferences and coaching style.

  • Dual Notification Options:

Every assignment notification offers two configurable options - in-app notifications and email notifications. This ensures you're informed in the manner that suits you best.

  • Email Notification Flexibility:

The email notifications align with your personal notification settings. Choose from three frequency options: hourly, daily, weekly or you can opt-out completely.

Forum Notifications

Although all your preferences on the Email notifications page are at the organization level, only Forum Block has an exception. We know that you have programs of different importance/priority, so we update the notification settings of the forum block to the program/forum level.

Setting these preferences is quite simple.

  1. Go to Program Editor

  2. Click on the Forum Block you added to your program

  3. You can select the notification preference you want by scrolling through the notification settings from the selection screen on the left.

You have 3 different notification options:

  • Every Update: Every update by any user (client, coach, admin) will create notifications.
    Good for small communities.

  • Only Mentions and Followed Posts: Only mentions and followed posts will create notifications.
    Good for large communities.

  • No Notifications: No notifications from the forum.
